The Fighting

The Fighting came into being in mid-2005 when UCD students Len Carolan and Chris Walsh joined with fellow UCDer, drummer Killian Barry. Subsequently, bassist, Len's brother, and all-round good guy, Ger, decided to tag along to form the line-up that exists today.

Based in Delgany, Co Wicklow, but Dubs one and all, the Fighting have been gigging since the beginning of 2006 and have already performed at several of Dublin's most notable venuesas well as in Belfast.

In July 2006, they reached the final of the Emergenza new bands competition, narrowly missing out on a trip to Germany for the European finals.

Refreshed and raring to go, the Fighting want to bring their lively brand of catchy rock to various venues over the next few months. Stay tuned for information.
