Exodus Ball 2008
On Friday 8th February, Ballymena played host to a night of glitz and glamour as Exodus held its annual fundraising ball.
This black tie event ensured everyone made the effort with tuxedos and evening gowns gracing the floors of the Tullyglass House Hotel.
Guests were treated to a delicious three-course meal with musical accompaniment from the lovely Emma Cummings, and with full and contented stomachs, attention was turned to the reason for this night.
After a presentation on the heart of Exodus, the crowd was invited to bid in a charity auction with lots including: A tour of the coast in a Ferrari, a signed Andrew Trimble shirt, Tickets for a Man Utd match and.... a power drill!
This part of the evening sparked much laughter as auctioneer, Nigel Taggart, encouraged some outrageous bidding, whether the participant wanted to join in or not!
As the tears of laughter were wiped away, the McStockers led everyone in a ceilidh, and so with lots of spinning and twirling the night came to a close with the grand sum of £4000 raised, making the night a huge success.
