Features of
360 Groups
360 groups have a number of unique features which provide opportunities for missional, relational dicipleship. These are summarised below:
Group Leadership
The 360 Adventure groups are led by a leader and a co-worker (both over 18) and will ideally be made up of a further 3-10 young people aged 15-25.
The Course
Each 360 Adventure group follows one of four small group courses designed to suit young people at different stages of growth ranging from those who aren't Christians to those committed to discipling others.
Each course is made up of two eight session UNITS. Sessions are designed to last about 2 hours and use a range of activities including discussion, community building, Bible study, prayer and actiive service to approach the relevant topics.
Residential
At least one session per course is recommended to be run over a residential where deeper relationships can form and discipling issues can be addressed more openly.
Ministry Placement
At the end of each unit, all group members complete a ministry placement. This puts the lessons of discipleship into practice and can be carried out individually or as a whole group. They will be a service project and will ideally last for a minimum of five days. Ministry placements can be organised by the church, the group members or an agency such as Exodus.
