Life Change in Romania

Life Change in Romania

My trip to ‘Networks' in Romania with the exodus explore team was a completely life changing experience. 5 AM starts, blister forming manual labour and ‘interesting' food!

However the thing that really stood out to me was seeing the gipsy children (regarded as outcasts by local Romanians), unwashed, wearing little or no clothing coming from broken families with no source of regular sustenance yet appearing so content.

It made me realise how insignificant my own personal struggles were and how fortunate we are in western society- yet we are so discontent and unhappy. I believe God broke my heart for the poor and whatever direction my future takes will be different because of this.
