For me, it was a great encouragement to see how people with so little were able to worship God with all their hearts, and the time when I experienced this the most was at the prayer meeting we were invited to the day after we arrived in Scrind. It was so encouraging to me that these people were willing to invite us into their homes, even though we were strangers and didn't even speak the same language, but our fellowship in Christ brought us together.

Everybody we met was so cheerful and content with what they had, and it really showed me that we have everything we need if we have God in our lives. This became especially clear on one of the home visits we did when giving out food parcels, when we asked one of the elderly ladies what she would like us to pray for, and she told us simply to thank God, because she had had a long life, and all of her children were Christians.
