The Closeness of God

Aside from the people, the places we saw, and the overwhelming sense of community that surrounded everything we shared in, i will never forget the closeness of God and His presence as when we sat under an awe-inspiring blanket of stars at night.

For anyone who was trying to escape from this side of our trip (although i'm glad no-one was!), it would've been impossible. We watched fork lightning destroy a calm blackness. We saw huge raindrops reinvent a dusty road.

We left Romania with a real sense of who God is, and how much we take for granted. God is in all these things. He'll never leave us.
