They have both been out to Gran Canaria several times and are excited to be heading out again in July!
Daniel is the Youth Coordinator at Portstewart Baptist and Kirsty works at iCare Opticians.
Exodus Teams have been instrumental in both of their lives and so they are both stoked to be leading

The Placement

Touch down in Las Palmas Gran Canaria for your Spanish Adventure!

This trip is no sun holiday, however, as you'll be driven past the holidaymakers and into the concrete jungle that is the village of Jinámar. This are is made up of high rise flats and open plazas where the local community live.

In the heart of the community, is Jinámar Evangelical Church - your home for the next 11 days! You'll stay with the wonderful local community and serve their vision of reaching out into the local community.

You'll lead children's clubs, play football, share Bible stories and serve practically as you aim to make Jesus known in a area facing real economic and social challenges.

This is ideal for someone who is unafraid to try new things, is ready to meet new people and is willing to try and speak a few words of Spanish!

¡Nos vemos en Gran Canaria!

Josue is the Spanish host for Jinámar and a deacon of his church.

Jinamar has 20,000 people and has a great spiritual need. Some of the problems in the local neighbourhood include poverty and crime which is why the Church wants to be a light in the neighbourhood.
