Emerging Leaders Internships

A unique opportunity for disciple makers and future youth ministry leaders to learn, serve and grow.

Our Emerging Leaders Internships exist to raise up and release the next generation of disciple makers and youth ministry leaders.

Do you want to impact the lives of hundreds of young people?

        Develop your leadership skills?

                Grow personally and spiritually?

Work alongside a team of youth ministry leaders?

Our Emerging Leaders Internships are much more than a 'year out', but an opportunity to make a difference and discover your potential.

Every internship includes:

  • Playing your part to reach and disciple young people with the life changing message of Jesus
  • Working alongside an Exodus staff member
  • 6 Leadership Development Days, including innovative training from youth ministry leaders
  • 3 'Interns Together' days to connect with and learn alongside interns from other organisations
  • A 3 day residential 'Get Set, Go!' to kick off your internship (late August)
  • A 7-10 day 'Leadership Adventure' in Romania (May/April)
  • A £500 subsidy towards any Exodus team
  • An Interns Leadership Development Journal
  • Mentoring from an older Christian

Finance

COSTS

Interns are asked to contribute £250 to be part of the Emerging Leaders Internship.

Interns who opt into the Romania Leadership Adventure will be asked to pay a further £550 for this experience. This is an unforgettable development trip hosted at Exodus Romania and is not to be missed.

Exodus subsides the cost of each internship by around £2000. As a result, Interns are strongly encouraged to do some fundraising for their local centre. For most interns, this will involve sharing during a church service or hosting an information/fundraising event within the first 8 weeks of their internship.

SUPPORT

Interns receive all other materials and development opportunities throughout the year at no additional cost.

This includes:

  • A bursary of £500 towards an Exodus Team personal contribution.
  • Out of pocket expenses of up to £150 per month for commuting and meals consumed during work.
  • Enrolment to the Interns Together Programme
  • Use of a work laptop (if required)
  • All costs covered for the Get, Set, Go! Residential in August.

*Exodus do not provide interns with lodging or meals outside of work hours
