WHAT'S THE CRAIC!
Ramelton Presbyterian
All Irish/UK adventures begin at our residential centre on the North Coast. Here, an energetic bunch of volunteers will lead you through your launch programme; two days packed full of team building, faith exploration and our annual trip to The Lake, Kilrea (fingers crossed)!
After lots of fun in Coleraine you will travel north west and connect with Richard and his family in Ramelton. Ramelton is a beautiful village nestled in the rolling hills of County Donegal, resting on the River Lennon. Legend has it that on quiet nights when the stars are perfectly aligned you can hear the soft and winsome tones of Daniel O'Donnell himself gliding over the emerald mounds...
Immerse yourself in this wonderful, family orientated church who love their community and want to see their county know and love Jesus Christ. Use your talents to lead a kids club, participate in church services, squeeze in a game of Spike Ball and reach out to local teenagers with the good news of the Gospel.
No time to wait! This could be the team that changes everything, 'a ligean dul' ("let's go" in Irish)
Story & Staff
Richard has been Minister of Ramelton and Leiter Churches for three years. Married to the wonderful Julie, they have three daughters, Beth (19), Sarah (17) and Kate (15), we are originally from Bangor. Richard and his family have hosted Exodus teams since 2021 and all of them have thoroughly enjoyed their time serving here (we also really like Richard, that's we keep going back to him).
The churches prayer for Ramelton and Leiter is that the reality of God would be known through Christ.
