We have raised

Leader

Josh Kamalarajah

Josh is a medical student at Queen’s University Belfast who loves working with people, asking too many questions, and getting involved wherever possible. When not studying medicine, he can usually be found playing hockey, travelling or serving others with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a desire to reflect the love of Jesus in all he does.

CO-WORKER

Max Kamalarajah

Meet Max, who will be serving on his third Exodus team, having previously visited France and Romania. He is a university student who is more than happy to trade his freezing uni house for the warmth of Mozambique. Max loves sport, playing the piano and general good craic. He is incredibly excited to see what challenges and experiences God has in store for the team in Mozambique!

Leader

Sophie Douglas

Sophie has been on two exodus teams to Spain and France. She is currently completing her social work degree at Ulster University. Sophie enjoys opening her Bible, and she especially loves getting to study God’s word with other people. Sophie can’t wait to journey alongside a team this summer!

The Placement

Mozambique // 30th June - 13th July 2026

The Location

Welcome to Mozambique!

Mozambique is a country on Africa’s Indian Ocean coast with Maputo as its capital, shaped by a long and complex history that includes ancient trade routes, Portuguese colonization, and a hard-won independence in 1975. Its people are known for their resilience and strong sense of community, shaped by both tradition and shared challenges. Our placement partners in Mozambique invite you to come and see what God is doing in the families and communities where they serve, and to partner with them to bring God's hope and love to people who really need it!
